Segregation between private & teaching patients with flexible designed cores
Design of central Cores area with a back to back zones including visitors & patients for both private & teaching hospitals to allow access from front private entrance & back teaching entrance & allow for segregated flow for separate wards of patients rather than teaching bays as well as segregated receptions at each clinical department at upper hospital floors. Cores are designed with flexible considerations to allow be opened from 2 sides in order to facilitate flow as per clinical need at each floor or department.
DESIGN MODULARITY FOR ADAPTABILITY & FLEXIBILITY
Design is based on modular structural order & fixed module to allow for adaptable changes in layout, function & patient volume. Spaces are flexible in use , cores & MEP spaces are located in a way to allow free spaces for future modification, considering future building expansion & future bed capacity extension or departments changes or allocation
